The Consortium
Consortium Bioexport Emilia-Romagna was founded in Bologna in 1994 with the aim of enhancing and promoting, both in Italy and abroad, the organic products of the associated companies, as of today a dozen of small-medium enterprises operating throughout the region. To promote the various productions and corporate brands, the Consortium makes use of some promotional tools such as specialized fairs, meetings with buyers and the development of targeted missions and synergistic projects in collaboration with the Region. On the basis of Law 83/89, the Consortium provides a series of specialized services to the associated members, such as assistance and consultancy for small and medium-sized enterprises, assistance at trade fairs and missions abroad, interpreting, translation and contract services in the main European languages, press activities and much more.
Mission and goals
The Bioexport Consortium is a non profit establishment and was created with the aim to promote the export of the products of the associated companies (obtained according to the criteria and methods of organic farming as provided and defined in the EU, national and regional legislation) dealing, if necessary, with the promotional activity compulsory to carry it out. The Consortium will also be able to import raw materials and semi-finished products on behalf of the associated companies themselves. The Consortium participates in Entities and Companies and carries out all those activities strictly related to the corporate purpose, useful for the development of foreign relations of the consortium companies.
Associated companies
Joining the Consortium means being able to rely on a structure consolidated in over 20 years of activity, which daily works to enhance and encourage – both in Italy and abroad – the organic culture, promoting the products of the companies associated. From the dairy sector to forestry, from bread-making to beverage, up to more niche products: to date, Consorzio Bioexport has over 20 associated companies, a pool of great attraction that over the years has benefited from joint participation in important international events (SANA , MARCA, BIOFACH, ANUGA, SIAL, FANCY FOOD, NATEXPOR, FOODEX JAPAN), meetings with buyers, missions and other initiatives. Joining Consorzio Bioexport is simple: it does not set minimum turnover requirements and in addition it opens up to SMEs the possibility of using specialized corollary services such as assistance on community and international regulations, customs services, product certification, but also commercial information on potential customers , export markets and procedures, interpreting and translations, international contracts and access to public export incentives.
